Saturday Night Sleep Over

Eli came and stayed the night last night. Those two boys have so much fun together. It cracks me up! Anyway, after we picked Eli up, we came home and the boys played cars and guitars. We did an Easter bunny craft (more like I did it and they just pushed down the pieces,) we ate pizza, watched some TV, and then crashed for the night.

Today we woke up early, ate some cereal, and the boys just ran around and played until Dawn and Brian came to pick Eli up. The boys are so well behaved together... other than a few little sharing incidents you would never have known that there were two of them here.

And Hey Brian....

Cameron is a big brother!!!

Jennie had her baby this morning. They are both doing well. He was born early, around 2:30am and was 9 lbs 10 oz and 21 1/4 inches long. They have not picked out a name yet. They should be going home tomorrow. I can't wait to meet him!

This is a picture that Jennie sent from her cell phone. I will add more when I get to go and see him.

Jennie and Vinnie - I am so happy for both of you!

Funtasia

Last night we took an unplanned trip to Funtasia in Lynnwood. Vinny went on his first go-kart rides and loved it! He wanted to go again, after going with dad, so mom took him again. Then we went inside to play in thier playland.

**Note** For those of you who are thinking of bringing your little ones to funtasia... it was WAY too expensive and kind of ghetto. We won't be going back there. Jungle playland, and even McDonalds was nicer.

Grades are in!

I got my grades for my classes!

Children's Literature - A
Personal Finance - B
Nutrition - C+

I didn't do quite as good as I had hope, because I didn't make honor roll, but this makes my cummulative GPA a 3.0.

I have to say though, I don't think I did that shabby for as much as I had on my plate last quarter!

My last class starts Monday!!! Wish me luck!!!

Look what Vinny is wearing!

I decided to just try some big boy undies on Vinny tonight. He loved them... After a couple of hours he did end up having an accident and completely panicked when he did, but it was worth it. He was so cute!

As many of you know, First Heritage Bank is a large supporter of 4 different charities: The American Cancer Society, The March of Dimes, Junior Achievement and The Snohomish Education Foundation. In order to raise money for these causes, we have decided to do Easter bunny photos. For a $10 donation, you will receive a CD with your photos. Each CD will include one sitting.
I hope that we will see you all there! Please pass this on to your friends and family, so that we can help these great charities!

Our weekend.

We had a good weekend. It was busy, but fun.
On Friday night, we went to Dan and Linda's to play cribbage. Tony and Tim have been playing a lot lately, and it is always a fun game to play.
On Saturday, we moved my mom back home to her apartment. She is going amazingly well. I am shocked at how well she is up and moving around.
When we left there, we went home and played in the backyard. Tony got a load of woodchips for Vinny's play set, and put those down. Then we took Vinny outside to take pictures of him in his Norwegian sweater, that Bona and Grandpa Reidar got him. We have been promising a picture since Christmas, and haven't been able to get one. I just love this sweater. It is still a bit big, but that is good, because he will be able to wear it for a long time. :)

We went and played at Bona and Grandpas for a couple of hours that night. Vinny just loved playing and running around with thier new puppy Brea. I think the two of them exhausted eachother!

Sunday I went over to my mom's to help her with a few things. We went to Burger King, for lunch and so that Vinny could play for awhile. It was fun to just hang out and spend some time with her, andhave Vinny have some time with her too.
We spent the afternoon doing things around the house, and then in the evening we went up to Jungle Playland and met Dawn, Brian and the boys. That place is so cool, and cheap! Normally it is only $4, but the last couple of times that we have gone on a Sunday evening, they didn't charge us. Yay!

Jungle Playland Play Date

We went to Jungle Playland in Mt Vernon today to play. Dawn, Eli & Kai, Alicia, Keiler & Micah, Becka, Vinny & I all went. It was a lot of fun. We were there for nearly 2 1/2 hours, and the kids had a blast the whole time. It was so fun to get out and spend time with friends too.

Mom Update

My mom is out of the hospital now. She is going to stay with Dan and Brenda for a week or two before she goes home. We brought her there yesterday. It sounds like she is getting better by the minute and seems to be getting around very well.
I think that the pain is getting better too, and that is always a good thing. Hopefully she will be back to able to take care of herself in a week or so. Then she will be able to move back home.

Happy Birthday Eli!

Dawn was super mom again, and threw a wonderful party for Eli. You should have seen all the yummy treats that she made. They were amazing. The party was a lot of fun... Vinny, was a bit of a party pooper, because he was so exhausted (miss nap time) and cried a bit, but it was still fun. We got to see friends from our mommy's group, and I got to meet Tracey and her family from my online mommy's group, which was fun.

Eli's cake... Yes, Dawn made it :)

She made th cupcakes too...

Vinny was having a hard time waiting.

"Just one???"

Yum!

I told you she was amazing!
