Deception pass

We took a drive up to Deception Pass this evening. We took a little hike up to the bridge and then spent awhile down at the beach. It was much needed family time!

Vinny wanted to take a pic like Mom and Dad
What we found just hanging out on a log. Someone knew how to put a little smile on people's faces.

Vinny's first Aquasox Game

On Tuesday, we took Vinny (and Tim) to an Everett Aquasox game. Vinny played at the bouncy houses most of the time, but it was a fun time for all of us!

Vinny went down to get Webby's autograph.
And Frank's too!
And Webby's again...
Webby signed it Webby#2
They had a magician there, and Vinny thought it was amazing. He kept asking to see more tricks, and then practiced his own tricks for us later. :)

Father's Day

I know it is late, but I wanted to say Happy Father's Day to all of you Dads out there.

I also wanted to say:
Thank you Tony for being such a wonderful Dad to Vinny. I can't imagine raising him with anyone else. We both love you so much!
Thank you Dad for being such a great Dad to me. You have no idea how much I appreciate having you for my dad and for Vinny's Papa. I love you!
Thank you Dan for being such a great Father in Law and Papa. I really lucked out! You have been so great to all of us.
Thank you to Daniel for being such a great brother, too. You helped a lot in making me who I am today. You are an awesome Dad too!!!

Love you all so much!!!

Mothergoose Soccer

Vinny just started playing soccer a couple of weeks ago. He has had 2 practices so far. Here are a few pictures from the 1st one. He does pretty well. He can dribble, and pass, but sometimes doesn't pay much attention. It will be interested to see how the season goes!

Relay for Life

Yesterday was the 1st annual Relay for Life in Marysville. My boss, Michelle was the chairperson for the luminary ceremony, so I went to help out. And to walk some laps. It was a beautful day!

It was a lot of fun! The bad part is that I ended up with an awful sunburn.
Way to fight cancer Melissa, by getting a sunburn!

6 years!

Yesterday was our 6th year wedding anniversary. We had a great time. We went to the CrabPot restaurant in Seattle for dinner. Then went to the luminary ceremony at the Relay for Life. Then headed to the casino for a few hours of playing slots, all while Vinny stayed the night at Grandma and Grandpa's. It was a late night, but so nice to spend some quality time together!

I can't believe we have been married for 6 years together... I am looking forward to another 60! Love you, Tony!

Strawberry Lanes

Ever since I went bowling awhile back, Vinny has brought up going bowling. So, this morning we did. It was a lot of fun... Tony and I bowled worse with the bumpers up then we did with them down, but oh well.

Just have to float my own boat....

Check out my weight loss ticker at the bottom... 2 digits down! Yay!!!

Had to take advantage of the great weather...

so we finished off our busy day with a trip down to Kayak Point. It seemed so weird that it was nearly 6 years ago that we got married down there.

Lucy

The plan wasn't to let him go in the water... but he needed to fill his bucket. He already got his pants wet up to his knees, so I let him take off his shoes and just go for it.

brrrrrr.....

Happy 2nd Birthday Jacob!

Today we went to Jacob's 2nd Birthday party. They had it at Garfield park in Everett.

Vinny always has to be in the middle of the present opening.

Vinny learned to climb up the slide the wrong way.

Vinny loved his Nemo hat!

Vinny is learning early to take advantage of his little cousins.

Point Defiance Zoo

We got up early this morning and went to Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium. I have to admit, even thought it is way smaller than Woodland Park zoo, it was well worth the drive. The park was pretty empty, especially for a Saturday. It was small enough that we went through the whole thing before Vinny got too tired. For a 3 year old, I recommend the trip.

Vinny even got to go on a camel ride!!!

He doesn't look too excited, but he was full of smiles.
Meerkats!
Sharks!
Gotta take a break for a little love for Dad.
I loved watching the walrus. It was huge!
