Our 3 day weekend.

Friday night we went and bought a croquet set. Vinny was so excited...

Saturday we went to the zoo with some of the mom's from my online Mommy's group. Dawn, Eli and Kai went with us. We met Tracey, who has a son names Conner who just turned 2 and a 7 month old Evan. They live in Washington, but this is only the 2nd time we have met them. We also met Cherie who was here with her son from California. Colin is just a few weeks younger than Vinny. We had a great visit. I'm telling you, 4 two year olds makes for an exhausting day!!!

"Hey Eli, Let's plan our escape!!"

This is the best picture I could get of the boys... hopefully one of the other girls got something a little better....

Saturday night we went up to the cabin. Then Sunday morning, Joe, Tania, Naya & Nadia, and Jason came up for a BBQ. It was a fun day of just hanging out and enjoying the sun!

We went to my Dad's for a BBQ today. It was a lot of fun to just hang out. We don't get to see them enough!!!

with everything going on...

I haven't been able to update.
Week 2 of Vinny's new daycare is going good still. He even yells "Yay" when we pull up to daycare in the morning.
We are planning on starting the 3 day potty training on June 29th. I have heard that his is a very trying 3 days, but well worth it. This also means that we have to try and get Vinny to start waking up dry every morning. We have stopped giving him his bedtime sippy cup, and it seems to be going well. He woke up dry for the 1st time this morning. Yay Vinny!
My graduation is only a couple of weeks away. So, I have been doing the last of my homework and studying to make sure I pass.
I have been working at different branches at work doing a different type of job. It has been very interesting, but I miss my branch. I will continue to do it until the end of June, then back to my manager job.
Other than that, I can't think of what else to update on... I am sure I will have lots of pictures after the weekend!

The rest of our weekend.

We did the American Cancer Society Relay for Life this weekend. It was so much fun! We stayed from about 10:30 am on Saturday until nearly 8:00 am on Sunday. This is such a great event, and I can't wait to do it again next year!

After the walk, we went up to the cabin and had lunch with Bona and Grandpa Reidar.

Then we came home, took a nap, and played out in the yard.

It was such a fun weekend. We were busy every second, but enjoyed everyone moment of it!!!

Spontanious Road Trip!

Vinny and I had taken today off to spend the day together. We had it planned, but I figured that after switching daycares and all the stresses of that, we needed to make it special. So Tony took the day off too. We couldn't decide what we would do, but were trying to come up with ideas yesterday. We finally came up with one. We would get up early and go to the Olympic Penninsela to the Olympic Game Farm, which neither of us had been to.
When I got home Tony told me that the bridge to get there was closed and the ferries were booked, but that there was a ferry we could take that night... so there it is 6:00, I had just got home and we needed to be in Edmonds at 8:00 if we wanted to go... So we started packing. It was only for one night, so we didn't need much. We rushed around the house, grabbed clothes, the diaper bag, the camera and the baby, and hopped in the car.
We had to wait for awhile, but we were able to get on the ferry on stand by. It was a special ferry that they only have on weeknights that takes you straight to Port Townsend. It was a long ride, but we got there at about 10:30 and were able to find a hotel right away.
This morning, we got up and drove to Sequim. Vinny had such a fun time... especially when we got to feed the animals. (No, Vinny wasn't in a seatbelt, but we were safe about it)

They also had a petting zoo. All Vinny wanted to do was chase the chickens!

Afterwards we took a drive to Port Angeles, and played on the beach. Then we went back to Port Townsend and waited for the Ferry for almost 3 hours. It took us to Keystone.

From Keystone we drove to Deception Pass, and around until we got home.
The last 24 hours was kind of a whirl wind road trip... a lot of driving, and a long of just "winging it," but it was a well needed trip, and we had such a good time...
Now back to the real world.
Tomorrow is the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life walk in Monroe. We are going to go and camp there tomorrow night with some of the girls from the bank. I think it is going to be a lot of fun.
Then Sunday I think we are going to go up to the cabin for awhile.
Then another 5 day week. Vinny's first full week at the new daycare. It will be interesting to see how it goes now that he is used to it. They have nothing but great things to say about him, and how well behaved he is (shocking huh?) and how well he does. I just hope it stays that way.
I won't be in my branch again this week. I will be going from branch to branch again, and probably will be until July, so it makes work different, but fun.
Well, Vinny is whining for me to get off the computer... I wil write more later!

First Day of New Daycare

Today was Vinny's first day at Wendy and Anthony's. It sounds like everything went really well. No tears when I dropped him off. He didn't even care that I left. They said that he was in a good mood all day. He even took a 3 hour nap! Then when I picked him up, he was in no hurry to leave. So far...so good!

Cheese!
Getting ready to meet my new friends! "Knock Knock, anyone there?"No hesitation in making himself at home.

Report and pictures from that were sent home.
Thank you Wendy and Anthony for making Vinny's first day so wonderful!

Happy Mother's Day!

To celebrate Mother's Day, we went out to lunch yesterday with my mom.

Vinny enjoyed his spaghetti lunch!
My Mom, Vinny and me.
We then went to the park to play!
When I got home, I told Tony that I really wanted to make stepping stones. I, of course, had to ruin my suprise... Tony and Vinny had already made me one. Tony told Vinny to show me my suprise, and he took me by the hand and pulled me out to the shed to show me. Apparently he had wanted to show my my "sprize" since they made it.
This morning (Mother's Day) we went and visited Linda for Mother's day for a little while. Then we came home and did some homework, cleaned out the sheds, did lots of playing outside, and just hanging out as a family. It was so nice! I missed not seeing everyone for Mother's Day, but I enjoyed my Mother's day at home with my boys.
Can you find Vinny in the picture?
Nope... because he was hiding!
He has that whole big play area and he kept crawling into the car carrier...
That's my boy!
Vinny made his own lunchable at lunch.
He could barely fit it in his mouth, but he ate it!
Mother's Day kisses!!!
Finally, a picture of both of us looking at the camera and smiling!!!!
Happy Mother's Day Everyone!!!
