Roller Skating

Vinny has been asking to go roller skating lately, so I decided today was a good day. The Marysville Skate Inn has a Tiny Tots skate for little ones, so it was a perfect day. Alison & Andrew and Dawn & Eli joined us for the fun!

The Three Musketeers!
Rocking out on the dance floor.

Doing the Limbo.
Eli getting low!
Boys can't just skate... they have to fall down too!
Time for a rest.
Andrew was digging the music!

The people at the skating rink took pictures of the boys together to add to their website. I can't wait to see :)

Zoo

I had told Vinny that since the puppies were going the vet today that we could do something extra special with just him and me. When I asked him where he wanted to go, he told me that he wanted to see the monkey, so that is what we did. We dropped the dogs off and drove to the zoo. Vinny was such a great boy today. We both had a lot of fun! We got there right when they opened and the place was empty. It was wonderful!

Vinny was very excited about the penguins!
He made a friend too... He kept going up and kissing the glass and trying to pet the monkey. It cracked me up.
Everyone has to have the baby elephant photo when they go to the zoo.
I told him I wanted a pic with the gorilla and he ran over and sat on his lap.
I don't know what the deal was with this little monkey. He kept kissing him too...
Riding the carousel.
It was such a fun day for both of us. I love spending the day with Vinny, especially when he is on his best behavior.

Life Update

Seems like I have to do these little updates more and more, becuase I am not writing in my blog nearly as much....
Let's see... I am still not working. I have had 2 interviews at the same bank and am waiting for a call back on that one. I also have an interview this Friday with a credit union. We'll see how it goes.
We were thinking of trading in the truck and getting a smaller vehicle with less of a payment. When we talked to the dealership about what we could get on a trade in, we found out that there is an error on the carfax report and that no one wants to buy the car now, so I have spent a lot of time on the phone and driving around trying to figure it all out... what a pain!
We went to the NHL Coyotes vs. Lightening game last night. It was fun and exciting to go, but I think I will stick to watching the Silvertips. Speaking of the tips, the season starts on Saturday. I am so excited!!!
Let's see... the puppies are getting big and have been such great pups... we are having them both fixed today, so tonight we will probably have a nice relaxing day at home.

Do the Puyallup!

Last night we made a completly last minute decision and decided to head down the the fair. Kara was showing, and we knew that with Vinny we would only be there for a few hours anyway, so at about 5:30 we packed up the car and headed to the fair.

Kara
Tony played the game where you play against a bunch of people, and all the horses race to the end. He won Vinny a big cow stuffed animal. Vinny was so excited. He danced all around hugging it. It was a super cute stuffed animal, too. Not what you would expect from a carnival game.

Part of the reason that we wanted to go to the fair was because we kept hearing about the "Totally Fried - We fry everything" booth. Well, we found it. We shared a sampler platter that had deep fried frog legs, deep fried pickle, deep fried oreo and deep fried cookie dough. We also got an order of chocolate covered bacon. I think that my favorite out of all of it was the deep fried pickle. Everything else was just nothing special, and the bacon, I thought, was gross... Tony liked it though. I expected heaven out of the deep fried oreo, but was very disappointed. I was also disappointed with the selection... no snickers or candy bars, and not a wide selection to choose from, considering what they claim... oh well, at least we know now.

Pics of the pups

Jake and Lucy are growing fast! She weighs nearly double what she did when we got them. Jake just turned 4 months on the 12th and Lucy is 14 weeks. They have been a handful at times, but I love having them around. They are both sweet, sweet dogs, and are very well behaved. I think that it has been good for us a family, as well. We have been going on more walks and going as a family to different dog parks. It gives us something to do rather than sit on the couch watching TV or something.

Monday at home...

Vinny picked cherry tomatoes from the garden.

Decided that he needed a snack, and went and got it himself :/
Staking Dominoes...
And putting them away.
Here is a picture that he colored. I lined up a bunch of crayons and told him to "color a star yellow." or "color an oval red." He did really well, but got bored after only a few.

Barnum and Bailey Circus!

The circus was in town, and Dan scored us some free tickets. Vinny was so excited! He danced and danced before the show even started! It was a fun show, and he did really well. Definetly something that we hope to see again next year. Thanks Dan! (and Cameron)

We ended up with the cutest little girl sitting in front of us... Wait! I know her... It's Ashley!
What are the odds? Alison and Ashley got tickets too, and they were seated right in front of us.

Alison and Ashley
Vinny bought a motorcycle toy.

Boboli

The other night we made Boboli pizzas for dinner. Vinny had lots of fun putting the toppings on.

Happy Birthday Dan!

Today is Dan's birthday, (Tony's Dad) and since Linda has been home sick, we decided to not go over to celebrate. So... Vinny and I brought breakfast and stopped by his work to suprise him!
Happy Birthday Papa!
