Vinny is obsessed with having a brother. He doesn't want a baby brother, he wants an older one. I don't really think that he understands the concept of what a brother is... in his eyes it is just someone older that he can claim all to himself.
Nadia is so understanding. I know that it must be hard to be her age and be called a brother all the time, but if she only understood that right now, I think that is the highest thing you can be, in his mind.
