Vinny's gets a new bike.

Vinny got a new bike for his birthday from Papa Vinny. He started out the 1st couple of days just practicing up and down the hall way in the house. He didn't really get it. Here is a picture of him trying out his new skates and bike at the same time...

Today I took him outside so that he could try some in a more open space and he just took off riding. He was so proud of himself!

Silvertips game

Saturday night Dan and Linda went to the hockey game with us. This was the game that Vinny was on the ticket. It was so funny because he even autographed his ticket for the guy behind us, with a crayon. He also knows that he is the "lucky ticket" because we won the game :)

Party Time!

We decided to do a roller skating party for Vinny and his friends. It was a lot of fun... but exhausting!!!

On Vinny's birthday, we went over to Grandma Karen's for cupcakes. Uncle Dan, Aunt Brenda and Coby came over too!

Who isn't a baby anymore. I just can't believe that you are turning 3 today. It brings tears to my eyes when I think about how much you have grown and changed, and what an amazing boy you are. The day you were born was the best day or my life. I can't imagine a day without you in it. Each day as you grow and learn, you amaze me. I love you so much!!!!

Huge news!

I think that after all of these months of trying to get Vinny potty trained were not worth it... all it took was me telling him that 3 year olds don't wear pull ups and he was almost 3, and he potty trained himself. Today is day 6 without pull ups. He has had a couple of 1/2 accidents (started going, but finished in the potty) but that has only been 2 or 3 times and the rest of the time he is telling us, or just going. I am so excited, and so proud of him.

A year in review...

I can't believe that it is already 2010.... Here is a list of some of my highlights from each month for 2009.... We've had our ups and downs, but we made it!

January - Vinny's 2nd birthday... It was so much fun at the Children's Museum.
February - Learning that Vinny knew how to sing Skitter Marink a Dink a Dink... too adorable!
March - Vinny wearing big boy underwear for the first time (now wouldn't it be nice if by now he wore them all the time?
April - Girls night in, while Tony was out of town... need I say more?
May - Vinny started his new daycare... Best decision we have made... I just wish we had made it sooner.
June - Huge month....Graduation!!! & loosing my job. And Vinny going on the big slide at the strawberry festival... something I will never forget.
July - 30! & we brought home Jake and Lucy.
August - we just had an awesome month... a lot of family time and trips to the beach and time together.
September - Vinny's 1st trip to the circus! & we got our new car.
October - Got a new job!!! Yay!!!!
November - Vinny went to the movies for the 1st time.
December - Going to the Imagination Movers concert... and a wonderful Christmas...

We have a ton to look forward to in 2010... Vinny's 3rd birthday... Tony's 30th... our trip to Disneyland... watching Vinny grow and learn... spending time with family... I can't wait to see how the year turns out!
