Vinny's school

Vinny only had school on Thursday this week, but they talked about pumpkins and ovals. i think he did pretty well on his cutting on this pumpkin. Too cute!

Stocker Farm & Pumpkin Patch

We got up early and decided to head out to the pumpkin patch. We headed to St ocker Farms in Snohomish. http://www.stockerfarms.com/ As always, we had a great time.

We started out in the corn maze. Vinny had a blast hiding and jumping out at us and having us do the same.

Vinny kept wanting to look at the map to see where we were.

He kept yelling "Giddy Up, Cowboy!" Isn't it Giddy Up Horsey? Hi Mom!

Vinny got to go fishing for the 1st time. And he caught a fish!!! They gave him the option of gutting it and taking it home, but he didn't want to. He wanted to put it back.

The hockey season has started!!!!

Hockey season is here! 2 games down and 2 games won! We went on Friday night for opening night without Vinny. I forgot how fun our dates nights at Tips games are.


On Saturday we brought Vinny along. He had so much fun! He did really well this year, and I am looking forward to taking him to games this year. He was so excited when the team game out on the ice.

My little video game junkie.

Vinny loves his video games. He plays his DS, loves to play games on my phone, and loves to play NHL 11 on the xbox. It really suprises me at 3 how well he does. On Saturday he stayed the night at Papa & Grandma's house. He taught Papa how to play DS.

Go Mariners!!! (or Marineros)

Last night, Anthony and Wendy invited us to the Mariner's game. We had a great time! It was Latin American night, but we got a complete kick out of the Canadians sitting behind us! They were a riot! The M's lost, but it was still great to just go and hang out.

We finished off the night just hanging out at their place. Vinny stayed the night at Grandma's and I have to admit, it was kind of nice not having to rush home to a little one.

Thanks both of you for a great evening out!!! We had so much fun! Next time, Silvertips!!!

I just want to point out, that I was excited to be able to go out, so I straightened my hair, did my makeup and felt pretty good about myself before we left. Then it was rainy, and super humid, and I end up looking like the above... Such a waste of time, on my part... Oh well. Love this pic of Tony though <3

1st Day or Preschool

Today was Vinny's 1st day of actual preschool. He was very excited!

When we got there to pick him up, we got a sneak peak on the playground.

"Vinny, how was your 1st day of school?"

I think it went well!

They made a fruit loop necklace for their 1st craft project. He only put 4 fruitloops on, and didn't eat any of them. He also colored a school bus picture. He said that they played a lot and he made lots of friends. "Only with boys, not the girls."

Vinny's Orientation

Vinny was very nervous and didn't want to go to his school this morning, but once we got there, he had a lot of fun. We went to the santuary and they did a little orientation and prayer and then we headed to his classroom to see his class and meet his teachers. Both teachers seemed Vinny nice, and I was very impressed with the school.
Since we have been working on Vinny's "words" so much, before I went into the class, I told him that whe the teacher asked his name, do be sure to tell her very clearly. So we walked up and she said "and what's your name," He got really nervous, put his hands on his forehead, looked up at me and said "I forgot." She has got to think that he is a complete idiot. I should have just let him be and not said anything, but she'll learn soon enough that he is a bright little guy.
When it was time to go, at first he didn't want to leave, but finally he cleaned up all the toys (even the ones that weren't his) and said goodbye to his teachers. He is very excited to come back on Friday.

We walked in the door and first thing he did was sit down to start doing puzzles.

Not a great picture, but here he is with Donovan. Donovan is the grandson of one of my old customers. She is a great lady, and he is a great kid, so I hope they get to become friends.
