A Composano Christmas

We had our Composano Christmas last Sunday. It was so fun... Of course, I forgot my camera, but I am waiting to see if others can send me pics.
We had awesome lasagna, and sausage and peppers... my dad made wings too. Yum!
We decided to do something a little different this year, and did an ornament exchange. I think it went really well. Tony got a cute little snowman ornament and I got a wreath with a pic of Alicia's boys in it.
This is a family tradition that I hope last forever!

Thank you Vinny, (and Anthony and Wendy)

Here is a picture of the Christmas gift that we got from Vinny that he made at daycare... I have never seen this idea... too cute! I love it!

I just wanted to post this picture...

Here is a picture of Cameron and Vinny when we went to see Christmas lights, with Jennie and Cameron...

Drawing

I have recently learned that Vinny loves to draw... Here are some pictures from our art session the other night.

I asked him to draw a person.
Sorry the picture isn't better.... here is his person... a huge smile, a big round nose (like elmo?) little scribble eyes and a scribble of hair on top (maybe a mohawk?)

Then I asked him to draw a christmas tree. This is actually about 10 christmas trees. He needed to do one in each color... notice the "stars" on top and the presents underneath.

I was really suprised at how well he drew... I have to admit, I have never asked him to just draw me something, because I didn't think he could.

He won't be singing...

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth... at least not this year.
I took Vinny to the dentist to follow up on his front teeth. Dr Lugo said that although they are brown and don't look the prettiest, they are still doing ok, and that it looks like the one has grown out far enough that it isn't doing damage to his permenant teeth. This is excellent news because that means that they don't have to pull his teeth afterall. I am so happy. His teeth are still not going to be pretty, but at least they will be there...
He said that if we are doing something special, or are having pictures done that he can do a temp. filling so that his teeth look white, but that it only lasts a couple of days, so he can't do it permenantly.

Saturday Night

After the concert, Vinny and I went to Dan and Linda's to do some Christmas crafts... we decorated ornaments, decorated Grandma's window and made gingerbread houses.

Imagination Movers!!!!

On Saturday we took Vinny to see the Imagination Movers! We heard about it for days from Vinny because he was so excited to go. It was a great concert, and I can't wait until they come back to Seattle. Vinny spent most of it dancing in the isles! It was so fun!

I am so bummed this picture is blurry!!! Mover Rich came and gave Vinny a high 5!

Target Photo Shoot Take 2

Vinny was being a stinker again... but I think we got a few good shots this time. This one is my favorite!

Vinny's "cheese" face

We couldn't get Vinny to look at the camera, so I started throwing a bouncy call, so that he would watch where it bounced.... she just shot a second too soon :)

LOVE IT!
Vinny not looking at the camera... he can be such a stinker!

Last night we had a Girls Night Out at the Silvertips game. We went and had Mexican for dinner and then headed to the game... The Tips lost, but we still had a ton of fun!

Thank you Juliette and Amelia

Today Vinny got his Secret Santa gift in the mail. I am part of an Online Mommy's Group and each year we do a Secret Santa gift exchange. Vinny was so excited to oped his package from Rhode Island! Jake and Lucy were excited too!

What's this?
A Cars puzzle!

Once he realized what the next gift was he was so excited!
He kept saying "It's Hungry Hungry Hippos!"

He got a fishing game too.
(what kind of face is that?)
And an Elmo ornament!
She also sent us a courious george puzzle and chocolates for me. Yum!!!
Since he got it, he has been playing hungry hippos non-stop... (It's been nearly an hour.)
Pure Joy!
Concentrating hard to beat mom.
CHEATER!!!

Thank you again, so much, Juliette & Amelia!
